Romance is Easy

Here are all kinds of possibilities sure to impress your Sweetheart.  

Declare your love by starting the day with a beautiful breakfast.  Doesn't Raspberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast sound Ooh La La?   Pair that with a lovely French Roast Coffee Blend and a little OJ and you will set the tone for the entire day!

If the weather is nice, plan a lovely picnic.  A little hiking or a visit to the Alabama Wildlife Center at Oak Mountain State Park might be just the getaway you need.   Or maybe a trip to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens or Aldridge Botanical Gardens in Hoover might be more up your alley.   Of course, you can even prepare a nice picnic in your own backyard if you'd like to be a little more private.  

Whatever you choose, try some light easy recipes to make your picnic special.  For instance, if its a crisp day and soup sounds good, just fill some thermoses for easy transport.   A few suggestions are Italian Fish & Vegetable Soup, Chicken Stew with Tortellini, or Pork , Corn & 3 Pepper Soup.  Just add a nice warm loaf of French or Italian bread and a bottle of wine and your romantic picnic is complete.   Just spread a blanket on the ground and see what happens!

If you have your heart set on a romantic dinner, a sure show stopper is Filet Mignon.   Pair it with Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes and a little Green Salad topped with Shrimp and you are on your way to a delightful evening.   Add a little candlelight, a single rose, and a favorite bottle of wine (Cabs go nicely with Beef) to complete the table.  Then go all out and end with Bananas Foster or White Chocolate Dessert!
